Cristophe Giroux pursued his undergraduate studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (1998). He holds a Master’s in Criminal Law from both Universidad de Barcelona and Universidad Pompeu Fabra, Spain, earning the highest grade in the Master’s program (2010). In 1999, he pursued a diploma in Criminal Justice and the Accusatory System at Universidad Diego Portales, Chile.

His practice focuses on criminal risk prevention, litigation, and the defense of individuals and corporations in a wide spectrum of criminal matters, including economic and financial crimes, corporate criminal liability, violent offenses, firearms violations, obstruction of justice, and traffic-related offenses.

He started his legal career at Morales, Noguera, Valdivieso y Besa (1999-2003). Thereafter, Cristophe worked more than eight years in the Criminal Prosecution Office. Then, he worked as a Senior Associate at Bofill, Mir & Álvarez, Jana (2011-2016).

He has taught Criminal Law at the Law Schools of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2012-2014) and Universidad Gabriela Mistral (2015-2019), at the Chilean Judicial Academy (2013, 2014, 2016), at the Diploma of Compliance and Best Practices on Corporate Governance at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2015-2017), and at the Diploma of Fraud Prevention, Detection, and Investigation by the Economy and Business School of Universidad de Chile (2018-2020). He currently serves as Professor of Criminal Law at Universidad del Desarrollo (2022–present).
